Turnbull & Asser are to launch a new charitable collection with One for the Boys. The One for the Boys charity aims to raise awareness of male cancers, arming men with the facts, the risks and the tools they need to tackle cancer.
The limited edition collection consists of 24 ties, 40 pocket squares and 16 bow ties, each being sold to generate money for OFTB.
The charity’s campaigns focus on reaching men through their interests, whether that’s music, fashion or sport and challenges them to prioritise their health and change the way they think about their bodies so they speak up and say something before it’s too late.
Dean Gomilsek-Cole, Head of Design at Turnbull & Asser comments: " One statistic that really scared me was the fact that although more women contract cancer than men, more men die from it, mostly due to the fact they don't get themselves checked out. What a waste of life. If what we do helps raise awareness for just one more man, that is one life that the charity could have saved and that makes it worth it. We didn't want the products to shout 'buy me because it's for charity' but instead we have developed some great tasteful and elegant pieces that are all made in England to our usual high standards. Only the wearer will stand proud knowing that they have gone a small way to saving a life."
