Sneak Peek at The Scarlet

Cornwall, March 2021: For the first time, visitors to Cornwall can visit the award-winning Scarlet Spa for just a treatment or shorter spa experience. The renowned eco spa hotel is nestled on the north coast of Cornwall, and is the ultimate haven of relaxation. It has been hugely popular for both overnight and spa day breaks since it opened some 12 years ago.

Previously, the spa has been reserved for guests of the hotel or spa day visitors, and ahead of the new spa menu launch, between 14th April to 16th May from Wednesday to Sunday, visitors to and locals of the area can enjoy a preview of the new treatments, where there are four to choose from.  

  • Attuned Massage: The Attuned Massage is a brand new massage therapy, offered to help bring balance after this odd time. It begins with the therapist listening to how you’re feeling and then adapting their response to leave you feeling renewed and relaxed! £115 per person

  • Tula Facial: The new all-natural facial treatment, Tula Facial, begins with the face being gently cleansed and exfoliated, while a cold compress leaves the face visibly enlivened. Ayurvedic massage techniques are used to relax the muscles: a Mukhabhyanga oil massage of the face, head and neck to increase circulation – bliss! £115 per person

  • Rebalance: Find some much-needed calm in a clifftop hot tub (with a glass of fizz!), then step into a treatment room for either the new Attuned Massage or Tula Facial. Relax on the recliners in the light spa relax area to make the most of your time and leave feeling brand new! £280 for two people

  • Time in Sea Air: Find some peace amongst the Mawgan Porth waves and plunge into the natural reed pool before focusing on the calming sound of the sea from inside the stillwater clifftop hot tub with a glass of bubbles. £90 for two people

The treatments included within the Spring Spa Preview form the basis of The Scarlet’s new spa offering which will be available for guests in the summer.
