Camber Holiday Cottages are delighted to announce their new partnership with the Rye Lawn Tennis Club – offering their guests the opportunity of playing on the hallowed turf of TN31.

Rye Lawn Tennis Club is a small club with big credentials. Set on the banks of the River Rother,  it has 8 impeccable grass courts, 3 artificial clay courts, 2 padel courts, 2 squash courts and a croquet lawn, there’s something for everyone.  

The Camber team recommend guests try out the grass courts - beautifully maintained with input from the head groundsman of Wimbledon - they are often quoted as “the finest grass courts outside of SW19”.

 

As members of the Club themselves, the Camber team have been able to form this partnership which means guests can play at the Club without becoming a member and at a discounted rate:  

 

·     Player 1: £20

·     Player 2: £10

·     Player 3 and 4: £5 each

Courts are available at certain times, for those playing on grass there is a predominantly white dress code (anything goes on the clay courts). Bookings can be made one week in advance and all information can be found in our digital guide on what to wear etc.

So if Wimbledon has awakened your inner Nadal, this is a great opportuntiy to dust off your raquet and hit the grass!
