This spring join Tarquin’s Gin and the Scarlet for a wonderful evening of feasting and tasting, bringing together the very best of locally produced gin and seasonal ingredients in a beautiful clifftop location.
The evenings will run throughout the year, and guests are invited to meet at Tarquins Southwestern Distillery, nestled on a windswept hilltop overlooking the wild cornish coast, for the first part of their foodie tour.
There they will be met by one of the Tarquins team, and start their gin experience with a refreshing glass of Tarquin’s gin and tonic before beginning a 90 minute gin journey; complete with a tasting of four carefully selected gins and an opportunity to hand dip a bottle of gin to take home.
After the tour, guests will head to the Scarlet ( just a few minutes away) in their atmospheric dining room overlooking the beach at Mawgan Porth to enjoy a three course menu, full of local ingredients and seasonal flavours prepared by chef Mike Francis: think cured monkfish, braised venison and dark chocolate delice to finish, served with paired wines carefully selected by the Scarlet’s passionate team.

Tickets are £110 per person and include a distillery tour and gin tasting, a bottle of gin to take home and a three-course dinner at the Scarlet.
